This is a scenario for discussion, not a customer deployment or a measured outcome.
The everyday situation.
An IT team is preparing a recovery exercise. The instructions, a service diagram and a recorded handover live in different folders. Someone remembers a useful explanation, but not where it was saved.
Start with the question.
Where is the recovery procedure, and which training recording explains it?
Who reviews: IT teams, MSPs and security operations.
Sample material: Approved runbooks, diagrams, training recordings and past review notes.
A possible VAIMS-assisted workflow.
- Start with a permitted copy of the relevant runbooks, diagrams and handover recording. Define one procedure the reviewer already knows how to verify.
- Search for the procedure and related terms. Use the document results and working transcript to identify candidate passages rather than treating a generated summary as an approved runbook.
- Open the relevant document page and replay the recording. The service owner checks product version, date, environment and approval status.
- Create a review note with the selected references and unresolved questions. This note is a human deliverable; automated Evidence Pack export remains a separate completion goal.
What remains a human decision.
A qualified owner confirms the current revision and approval. No automatic system changes.
What would make the evaluation useful?
Time to the correct current procedure, plus time spent checking it. Compare the complete task with the existing approach, including verification and correction—not only the first search response. Include a question for which the sample has no answer.
Continue only if the team reaches the right approved material with less total search and verification work. A plausible but obsolete instruction counts as a failure, not a success.
Scope and availability.
This is an illustrative scenario, not a customer deployment or measured result. Functions and input limits are confirmed for the selected build. No special integration, industry certification or autonomous decision capability is implied.
